“Crowned in Confidence: An Exclusive Interview with Model & Mentor Angie A. Love”

By [STRIVE TIMES US]

From the heart of Chicago to international magazine covers and red carpets, Angie A. Love is more than a model—she’s a movement. With two decades of multi-talent mastery as a beauty queen, singer, designer, model coach, poet, and radio host, Angie continues to break barriers and inspire generations.

We sat down with the Glamour Model of the Year 2023–2024, Model Icon of the Year, and soon-to-be Fashion Icon Award recipient, to talk about her journey, role models, and what’s next for this unstoppable force in fashion and empowerment.

Q: Angie, tell us how your journey began. When did you first realize you were different?

Angie A. Love:
“Honestly, I was only 2 years old when I started singing. By 13, I was already designing my own wardrobe. I just always felt different—even from a young age. I never saw myself like anyone else around me, and eventually, I learned to embrace that. That difference became my power.”

Q: You’ve achieved so much. What titles or milestones are most meaningful to you?

Angie:
“Every achievement means something, but a few definitely stand out. Being named Miss Infinity Midwest USA and Ms. World Ambassador Tourism in 2020 really put me on the map. Then came Model Icon of the Year and Glamour Model of the Year 2023–2024—it’s been nonstop. And now, being honored with the Fashion Icon Award in 2025… it’s surreal.”

Other standout achievements include:

  • Model Citizen International 2021
  • Poster Model of the Year – Red Carpet Concierge Oscar’s 2022
  • Top 3 Role Model of the Year – Fashion Awards 2023
  • Cover Model – Couture La Rouge Magazine & MTAC 2025
  • Podcast Co-Host – Smitty’s Isop3n Artists Inspo Podcast
  • Power Organization’s Woman of the Month – July 2025

Q: Who has inspired you most on your journey?

Angie:
“Tyra Banks has always been a huge role model—not just for her modeling, but her business mind and how she gives back. I admire her ability to create opportunities for others. That’s something I aim to do as well.”

Q: You’re more than a model—you’re a mentor and media voice. Tell us about that side of you.

Angie:
“I’m passionate about teaching the business side of modeling. It’s not just about walking the runway. I coach models, speak at events, and co-host a nonprofit podcast where we’ve done over 50 interviews. I also co-host on Rejoice 102.3 FM. It’s about being a voice, not just a face.”

Q: What does the future look like for Angie A. Love?

Angie:
“My goals are clear: I want to keep mentoring, finish my official website, host more fashion events, and continue giving youth the tools to thrive. There’s more greatness on the way, more blessings, and more reasons to keep walking in purpose—guided by faith.”

Q: Final words for those looking up to you?

Angie:
“You don’t need to fit in to be powerful. Your difference is your crown—wear it proudly. Keep pushing, stay inspired, and know that your journey is just as important as your destination.”
